“What technology is being used? How are these machines operated? What are the costs?” Jadhav asked, eliciting detailed responses from the experts at the Ramoji Group stall.

Reflecting on his experience, Jadhav noted, “The film industry must continually evolve. When I started, digital technology was just emerging, and there was skepticism around it. Now, most films debut on digital platforms, especially OTT. Tools like VFX and AI are the future. The benefits may not be obvious immediately, but they will reveal themselves over time. My visit to the Ramoji stall was truly enlightening.”

This shift towards digital filmmaking aligns with recent trends in the industry. According to a 2022 report by PwC, the Indian media and entertainment sector is projected to grow to ₹2.23 trillion by 2025, driven by the rise of digital platforms and content consumption. This indicates that the industry is not just adapting but thriving in an evolving landscape.
