MacRumors reports that Apple just introduced a new entry-level iPad. This upgrade comes with more RAM compared to the previous iPad 10.

This new model features the A16 chip and packs in 6GB of RAM. This is a jump from the 4GB that the iPad 10 had with the A14 Bionic chip.
Interestingly, other devices like the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 15 series also come with 6GB of RAM. However, the A16 chip in the new iPad offers slightly different CPU and GPU specs, leading to uncertainty about its RAM capacity until now.
However, this iPad won’t support Apple Intelligence, as that requires at least 8GB of RAM.
More RAM means better performance, especially for multitasking. Users can expect the new iPad to be snappier.
Pre-orders for the new iPad are available, and it will hit the shelves on Wednesday, March 12.
