Marks & Spencer has just opened a new fashion and lifestyle store in Faridabad, adding to its presence in the National Capital Region. The launch attracted a lot of customers, showing the brand’s strong growth as it continues to expand its operations.
Shikhar Srivastava, the brand manager for M&S India, expressed excitement about the opening on LinkedIn. He noted how welcoming the crowd was and shared that the team’s efforts to promote the store paid off, with customers eager to check out what was new.
Marks & Spencer first entered India in 2001 and partnered with Reliance Retail in 2008 to create Marks and Spencer Reliance India Private Limited. With the new Faridabad store, the brand now has over 107 locations across 33 cities, reaching more customers through both physical stores and online shopping.
Founded in 1884 by Michael Marks and Thomas Spencer in Leeds, M&S is based in London today. The company operates more than 1,064 stores in the UK and over 452 internationally, employing about 66,000 people. In India, M&S focuses on a combination of standalone stores and digital growth, offering a variety of fashion and lifestyle products tailored to local tastes.
