Toyota has introduced the 2027 Highlander, an exciting new electric SUV designed for the American market. Plus, it features a giant panoramic glass roof and various charging options, making it family-friendly. The SUV can seat seven, and the third row folds down to create a spacious cargo area.

A notable addition is the NACS port for Tesla Supercharger access, allowing the Highlander to charge quickly. Under ideal conditions, it can move from 10-80% in about 30 minutes. The model will also feature vehicle-to-load capabilities, enabling it to serve as a mobile power source — a useful feature during blackouts.
Competitive Landscape
In terms of size, the Highlander is comparable to other three-row electric SUVs, standing at 198.8 inches long and 78.3 inches wide. With the rise of three-row electric consumers, this size could prove beneficial for marketing and sales.
