OnePlus has just unveiled its latest smartphone, the OnePlus 13T, in China. This phone aims to fill the gap for those who want a powerful yet compact Android device.

The OnePlus 13T features a 6.32-inch AMOLED display that’s notably flat, offering a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1600 nits. It’s also protected by a robust glass called Oppo’s Crystal Shield Glass, ensuring your screen stays safe from scratches. Interestingly, for the first time, OnePlus has replaced its signature Alert Slider with a “Shortcut Key.” This key, inspired by the Action Button on recent iPhone models, allows quick access to features like the flashlight, Do Not Disturb mode, and camera shortcuts—all conveniently located where the Alert Slider used to be.

The rear camera setup includes a dual system with a 50MP main camera and a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. This setup offers a more versatile option compared to many phones that opt for a lower-quality ultrawide lens. For selfies, there’s a 16MP front camera nestled in a punch-hole notch.

However, there is no mention of Hasselblad’s camera tuning, which is found in other OnePlus models. While this might mean the camera system isn’t quite as impressive as those in the flagship series, it’s still significantly better than the camera configuration on the OnePlus 13R, suggesting a solid performance for photography enthusiasts.

In terms of pricing, the OnePlus 13T starts at approximately $470 (CNY 3,399) for the 12GB + 256GB model and goes up to around $620 (CNY 4,499) for the top-tier 16GB + 1TB variant. It comes in three sleek colors: gray, black, and pink.

While the launch is currently limited to China, OnePlus has a history of expanding to global markets after their domestic releases, which many expect will happen with the OnePlus 13T.
