Keep Collier Beautiful (KCB) is calling all community members to join the Bay Days – Great American Cleanup on Saturday, March 22, 2025. The event will take place from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at various beaches, canals, and waterways in Collier County.
This cleanup is part of a larger initiative known as the Great American Cleanup, which started more than 20 years ago. It has grown into the largest community improvement program in the country. KCB, an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, proudly brings this event to our local area with help from community partners.
The cleanup unites local government, businesses, and community groups to keep Collier County’s environment clean. Volunteers will work together to remove litter and debris from waterways. Many K-12 teachers take this chance to involve their students for hands-on lessons in ecology. It’s a great opportunity for friends and families to bond while contributing positively to the environment.
This event is not just about cleaning; it’s crucial for promoting environmental awareness. Volunteers learn about proper waste disposal and the significance of caring for our surroundings. It’s an opportunity for individuals to take responsibility and engage in community service, making a difference in their local areas.
The 2025 Bay Days – Great American Cleanup is supported by several important sponsors, including the Florida Department of Transportation, Waste Management, and Keep America Beautiful, among others. Together, they help ensure that this event can continue to thrive and benefit the community.
