New Delhi, 15 November 2025: Today marked a special day for India as Union Minister Jitin Prasada inaugurated the Ramalaya Experience Centre at the Uttar Pradesh Pavilion. This event drew significant public and media interest as part of the India International Trade Fair (IITF), themed “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.”
The Ramalaya offers a blend of fragrance science, storytelling, and traditional Indian art. Visitors can embark on a sensory journey that honors ancient wisdom while appealing to a global audience.
What to Explore at the UP Pavilion:
- A luxury fragrance experience inspired by Indian scriptures
- Madhubani & Pattachitra art storytelling
- A showcase of national award-winning cultural collections
- An immersive space celebrating belief and heritage
Oscar-winning artist JPSR Prabhu Shriram has transformed sacred stories into engaging installations. Here are some highlights:
1. Shripad Ramayana Series
This series features ten key episodes from the Ramayana, illustrated in recognized Mithila/Madhubani art. Each episode’s emotion is captured through specially crafted fragrances, bringing the stories to life.

Inspired by the rich legacy of Mathura and Vrindavan, this series combines Pattachitra-style art with distinct scents for each story, creating a unique sensory experience.
“Ramalaya is a brilliant example of how we can showcase India’s cultural heritage globally. This initiative not only strengthens our cultural economy but opens new markets,” said Jitin Prasada. Former Chief Secretary Durga Shanker Mishra added, “Ramalaya takes our sacred stories and turns them into luxury offerings, inspiring our youth while keeping our authenticity alive.”
Shri Prashant Kumar, the founder of Ramalaya, mentioned, “Our goal is to spread the fragrance of India’s heritage worldwide. With the support of influential figures, we believe this cultural wealth can become a global luxury category.”
