The latest phone from Nothing brings a fresh design and unique features that stand out in a crowded market.

Design and Display

This phone sports a grid design with three columns. It shows off the flexible printed circuit boards hidden inside. Unlike the usual circular or rectangular camera designs, the camera on this device is laid out along the grid.

A highlight is the Glyph Matrix display, an upgrade from the Glyph LEDs seen in previous models. Initially used for notifications, the Glyph was also creative with timings and ride-sharing updates. The new Glyph Matrix can do even more and acts like a small display.

There are also entertaining “Glyph Toys.” You can see a pixelated version of yourself for fun selfies, play spin-the-bottle, or use a Magic 8 Ball feature by shaking the phone. Another quirk is a red square on the back. It lights up when recording videos, adding a practical touch to the phone after first appearing in the Phone (2a).

While not featuring the top Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, it uses the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. This still offers solid performance for everyday tasks. The battery has seen improvements too. It uses silicon-carbon technology, supporting denser batteries in slimmer designs. With a 5,150 mAh battery, it’s larger than the 4,700 mAh found in the Phone (2), despite the phone being slightly thicker.
