However, when the battery runs low, the mileage drops to 9.0 l/100 km combined.

Driving the Outlander is a pleasant experience, with the gas version responsive under acceleration. Its upgraded suspension helps absorb bumps effectively. The PHEV is quicker off the line, but heavy acceleration can drain the battery faster. Ideal for city driving, the PHEV excels in stop-and-go scenarios.

The base Outlander ES starts at $37,600, while the PHEV version kicks off at $50,700. Standard features include dual-zone climate control, an audio system, and several safety technologies. Upgrades available with higher trims include a panoramic sunroof, leather seats, and advanced displays.

A new Trail edition, featuring specialized off-road capabilities, is expected to debut later this year. This version enhances the Outlander’s diverse offerings, making it a strong contender among SUVs.
