Hong Kong Tops University Rankings in Asia

Recently, QS Quacquarelli Symonds released its 2026 Asia University Rankings, and the results are exciting for Hong Kong. 5. Taiwan’s Progress: Seven out of ten of Taiwan’s leading universities climbed the rankings, led by National Taiwan University at 23rd.

Interestingly, countries like Thailand and Pakistan are also seeing significant growth. Pakistan has 82 ranked universities, making it the sixth most-represented system in Asia. Meanwhile, the Philippines achieved a significant milestone with 35 ranked universities, which is eleven more than the previous year.
