Details about the TV app enhancements
First, let’s talk about the new plus button for featured titles. Right at the top of the TV app, you’ll see a rotating selection of highlighted shows and movies.
In the current version (iOS 18.3), there is a small plus button at the top-right corner. In iOS 18.4, this button is now bigger and easier to spot—it’s right next to the Play button!
Also, if you love keeping track of new episodes, you’ll appreciate the clearer release schedule. This was once hidden as a description under the title, but now it will have its own banner above the title. For example, if you’re watching Berlin ER, you’ll see ‘New Episodes Wednesdays’ clearly displayed.
Lastly, the fonts and icons have received a makeover. New icons appear in the Movies Spotlight and Sports sections. The overall font is updated for a modern yet familiar feel.
