The structure prominently displays his last name in gold, flanked by an American flag and featuring a Boeing 747 on the ground floor. This jet was gifted to him by the Qatari government and will be a centerpiece of the library once he exits office.
This proposed library is massive, even larger than Miami’s iconic Freedom Tower, which has deep historical significance for Cuban immigrants in Florida. This demographic played a crucial role in Trump winning the traditionally Democratic Miami-Dade County in the 2024 election.
The video presented replicas of significant moments from his presidency, including the Oval Office and a ballroom, all designed by the Miami-based firm Bermello Ajamil. The property itself, almost 3 acres along the waterfront, is valued at over $67 million. However, the land transfer from a local college to the state faced legal challenges last fall. A federal judge eventually cleared the way in December.
Interestingly, this proposed library site is also near Trump National Doral, a resort owned by Trump’s family.
