This month, Lab Press has some exciting giveaways for ComicsPRO 2025, including covers by Tula Lotay and adorable plush toys.

The ComicsPRO Industry meeting is happening from February 20 to 22 at the Hilton Los Angeles North Glendale, California. It’s a big event where comic retailers and publishers from around the globe come together to talk shop. This year, one of the new players, The Lab Press, will showcase its original print-only hardcover graphic novels.

One highlight will be their Super Science variant edition comic, featuring an exclusive cover by Tula Lotay. They will also be giving away 300 copies of Super Science: Chapter Zero, along with postcards and limited-edition Snuggles plush puppets. You can meet the writers, Luke Arnold and Doc Wyatt, at their booth.

The Lab Press presentation is set for Thursday during lunch, where they will reveal more about their upcoming titles:

• Essentials: Set to release in February 2025, this story follows Harris Pax, a disgraced mathematician, and Buttons, a toy with a twist, as they navigate a fabricated reality to save humanity.
• Super Science: Launching in May 2025, it features a world transformed by imagination, following LAPD’s ‘Mad Scientist Division’ as they confront emerging heroes and villains.
• Hunger: Arriving in July 2025, set in 1896 Bombay, it tells the tale of Izna, a mutant seeking revenge amidst the horrors of colonial oppression.
• Creatures & Corridors: Expected in October 2025, this graphic novel delves into a dangerous role-playing game that turns into a fight for survival for a group of teens.

These works display a mix of sci-fi, horror, and empowerment themes, showcasing The Lab Press’s unique take on storytelling in comics. Keep an eye out for their exclusive releases and giveaways at the event!
