Discover Two Powerful Ways You Can Support the Palm Beach County Food Bank Today – Jupiter Magazine

The Palm Beach County Food Bank is stepping up its efforts to support one in nine residents facing food insecurity. With World Hunger Day approaching on May 28, the food bank is launching exciting initiatives throughout May.

One highlight is the **Meal Build Food Drive**, running all month long. Local businesses are invited to gather non-perishable food donations and use them to create unique food structures at their locations. These displays will stay up from May 19 to 31, and all food collected will be donated to the food bank.

Participating businesses can register for the 2025 Meal Build until May 9. For more details, check out pbcfoodbank.org/meal-build.

Another opportunity for giving back is **Stamp Out Hunger**, a partnership between the food bank and the National Association of Letter Carriers. On May 10, residents are encouraged to leave non-perishable food items by their mailboxes. Local letter carriers will collect these donations and take them to the food bank’s warehouse for sorting.

This annual event not only helps local food pantries but also fosters community spirit. Last year, volunteers collected over 75 million pounds of food nationwide, showcasing how collective efforts can make a significant impact.

The Palm Beach County Food Bank is also leveraging social media to promote these events, encouraging residents to share their donations online and inspire others to contribute. Engaging with the community in this way highlights the importance of teamwork in fighting hunger.
