Discover Waterloo’s Food Truck Festival: A Culinary Adventure with Record-Breaking Vendors!

The RiverLoop Expo Plaza in Waterloo, Iowa, is gearing up for a delicious weekend. On August 30, the city will host its 5th Annual Food Truck Festival, bringing food lovers together for a fun celebration.

This year, the festival will feature a record 27 food trucks. Attendees can expect a mix of comfort foods and sweet treats. Each truck will offer $5 sample options along with their full menus, making it easy to try several dishes and pick favorites. Admission is just $5, and kids under 12 get in free. Most vendors will accept cash and major credit cards.

Festival organizers are excited about the event’s growth. “This year is going to be bigger and tastier than ever,” said Jessica Rucker, executive director of Main Street Waterloo. “With the support of our community, downtown Waterloo is the place to eat, explore, and celebrate the holiday weekend!”

In addition to delicious food, attendees can enjoy college football broadcasts and more entertainment.

It’s also a chance for locals to get involved. The festival is looking for volunteers to help out. In return, volunteers will receive a t-shirt, water, a drink coupon, and free admission.
