For instance, Aura Paladin is gaining traction, so we’ve boosted Cardboard Golem to make it more effective. Timelooper Toki is also getting a refresh, making it easier to use those creative strategies you’ve been exploring.
We’ve noticed that decks like Discover Hunter and Hagatha Shaman are popular, but current data suggests they’re not overpowering enough to warrant changes just yet. We’re keeping an eye on things as we approach the new year.
Here are some important changes:
- Cardboard Golem: From 4 mana 4/4 to 3 mana 3/3.
- Divine Augur: From 5 mana 5/5 to 4 mana 4/5.
- Power Word: Barrier: Now costs 1 mana instead of 2.

- Mechs: We’ve buffed several Mechs, like Junk Jouster and Metal Dispenser, while nerfing some other ones slightly to keep things fair.
- Murlocs: We noticed Dramaloc and Costume Enthusiast were too strong, so we’ve adjusted their power levels.
- Dragons, Undead, and others: We’ve given various buffs to underperforming types to bring them into the spotlight.
We’re pleased to bring back certain cards to the pool, including Bile Spitter and Carapace Raiser, while removing a few others. Stay tuned for more changes in the new year!
Minion and Spell Updates
Check out some of the key minion updates:
- Tardy Traveler: Moved to Tier 3 from Tier 4.
- Whelp Watcher: Added to the card pool.
- Stuntdrake: Moved down to Tier 5 from Tier 6.

Hero Changes
Changes have been made to various hero abilities, such as:
- Tess Greymane’s Bob’s Burgles now costs just 1 Gold.

- Sylvanas Windrunner’s ability has also been adjusted to 2 Gold.
Bug Fixes
