Data Pack Version Update
The latest Data Pack version is now 101.1. A key change is in world generation. The count field has been updated. It now ranges from 0 to 4096, instead of the old limit of 256.
Bugs Squashed
We’ve fixed several bugs to improve your gaming experience:
- MC-305118: Resources marked as “Broken or incompatible” now appear correctly.
- MC-306240: The /fill command now respects the max_block_modifications game rule.
- MC-306620: Snifflets now age correctly when fed a golden dandelion.
- MC-306805: Baby zombie villagers will now hold items correctly.
- MC-306840: Dolphins won’t drown themselves when players aren’t nearby.
- MC-306850: Caves and floating islands will generate as intended now.
- MC-306854: There are updated villager trade differences between snapshots.
- MC-306859: Baby mobs now display correctly when holding items.
- MC-306860: Player info in server status messages shows up correctly.
- MC-306898: Configured features are now limited to 256 attempts.
- MC-306899: The blocklists for fire patches are now corrected.
How to Access the Pre-Release
This pre-release is available for Minecraft: Java Edition. To install it, just open the Minecraft Launcher and enable snapshots in the “Installations” tab. Remember, testing versions can affect your worlds, so be sure to back them up!
