Get ready for a night full of laughs and jaw-dropping tricks! Award-winning juggler Guy Collins, also known as the Groovy Guy, will take the stage at the Monument Arts & Cultural Center in Bennington on March 1. This family-friendly show promises to entertain everyone.
Guy’s performance is part of the MAC Center’s annual Wellness Weekend, happening on March 1 and 2. During this event, you can join a variety of activities aimed at refreshing both mind and body. Aside from juggling, activities include yoga, cardio workouts, swing dancing, and even sound healing. It’s a great way to unwind and try something new.
Guy Collins is not your average juggler. He performs with unique and sometimes risky objects, all while balancing on a rope or riding a unicycle. His talents were recognized by magician Penn Jillette when he won the Travel Channel’s talent show “Street Cred” and took home a $10,000 prize after impressing the audience in Boston.
Guy kicked off his juggling career as a teenager in Paris. Although he was born in the U.S., he grew up in the U.K., where he honed his skills in circus school. He entertained crowds at Covent Garden and performed in various theme parks across England and Europe.
Now based in Bennington, Guy travels the world for performances at fairs, festivals, and cruise ships. His show on March 1 starts at 7 p.m., and it’s definitely a night you won’t want to miss!
