The 5th Annual Basser’s Food and Wine Festival is happening this August 24! This beloved event promises a fun-filled day with delicious food and great wines in Coral Springs.
Held at Basser’s Fine Wine on Coral Ridge Drive, the festival has become a highlight in the local culinary scene. This year, ticket holders can look forward to a diverse selection of 175 wines, craft beers, and tasty bites from 14 local restaurants—all for just $115.
Emily Basser, co-owner of Basser’s Fine Wine, describes the festival as a laid-back experience: “It’s the perfect Sunday outing with wines to sample and great food to enjoy.” There’s even a special showcase from JM Lexus featuring some of their cars—a unique touch for car enthusiasts.
If you’re after something special, the festival offers a VIP experience featuring wines from Chappellet Vineyard in Napa Valley. A brand-new “Cult Wines” section will celebrate rare, small-production wines from acclaimed family-owned wineries. As Emily puts it, “These wines are among the best on earth.”
Participants can indulge in an international tasting tour, featuring wines from regions like Napa, Sonoma, and even as far as France and Italy. Local restaurants like Casa D’Angelo, Eddie & Vinny’s, and Livelo will serve a variety of dishes to satisfy every palate.
What’s more, events like this can boost community engagement and highlight local businesses, driving not just economic growth but also fostering a sense of community. Studies show that events like these significantly enhance local pride and can bring people together over shared experiences.
Attendees are encouraged to come hungry, dressed comfortably, and ready to enjoy a relaxing day of food and wine. Emily emphasizes that parking is included, making it hassle-free!
The Basser’s Food and Wine Festival not only offers an escape into flavors and enjoyment but also strengthens community ties, allowing everyone to savor and celebrate together.
