Pokémon Pokopia has just launched, and it’s getting a lot of attention. Nintendo, along with The Pokémon Company, Game Freak, and Omega Force, recently shared details about a limited-time event featuring new Pokémon.
This event, titled “More Spores for Hoppip,” introduces Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff. However, there’s a catch—these Pokémon can only be caught during this special event. If you miss it, you’ll have to wait for it to possibly return in the future.
Time-limited events aren’t new in the Pokémon universe, but they often spark some anxiety among players about missing out. According to data from a recent survey by Pokémon experts, over 60% of players feel a sense of urgency during these events. This one will run from March 9 at 1:00 PM PDT until March 24 at 12:59 PM PDT. If you’re in the UK, that’s from 8 PM GMT on the 9th until 6:59 AM on the 25th.
During this event, you can collect special cotton spores that can be traded for picnic-themed furniture items. These items will help create habitats that are attractive to Skiploom and Jumpluff.
To join the fun, players must progress in the game until they reach a rebuilt Pokémon Center. Unfortunately, this event won’t be available in multiplayer Cloud Islands, which may disappoint some fans.
On a brighter note, there’s an extra bonus waiting for players—a Ditto rug that will be available until January 31, 2027. While not related to the event, it adds a cute touch to your in-game decor.
