The Mizzou gymnastics team is excited to announce a change for their Black & Gold exhibition meet. It will now take place on Friday, December 12 at 6 p.m. in Mizzou Arena. Best of all? Admission is free!
This meet is a big deal as it’s the first chance to see the 2026 Mizzou team compete in their home arena. The upcoming season features exciting matches against top schools, including Oklahoma, LSU, and Florida. Last season, Mizzou achieved a historic milestone by finishing third at the NCAA Championship Final, claiming four WCGA All-American honors.
Head coach Shannon Welker, in his 13th season, is bringing fresh talent to the team. Along with 13 returning members, they welcome three transfers and four new freshmen. This marks the third year in a row that Mizzou’s recruiting class has made it into the top 20 nationally, according to College Gym News.
For fans looking ahead, season tickets for the 2026 gymnastics season are available now. General admission starts at just $50, while reserved seating options begin at $125. Don’t miss out on witnessing the team in action!
