TROY, Ala. – The Troy softball team is gearing up for a crucial series against South Alabama. After a successful series win against Georgia State, the Trojans (31-22, 10-11 SBC) are just one victory away from securing a spot in the Sun Belt Tournament, which will be held right here in Troy.

This weekend is particularly special as it celebrates Senior Day, honoring five talented players: Taylor McKinney, Cassidy Boltz, Natalie Turner, Sarah Beth Brake, and Annie Orman. McKinney stands out, ranking third in the program’s history for career home runs and leading in several other categories.

The atmosphere at Troy will be festive. The first 100 fans on Thursday will receive free rally towels, while Friday is set for Student Appreciation Day, where the first 75 students will enjoy a complimentary giveaway and have a chance to win a Conecuh Sausage prize pack.
