In just four seconds and seven yards, Maye crossed the first-down marker, sealing the game for the Patriots. “After the game, Drake said he debated whether to keep it or not but decided to go with it,” Bradbury recalled.
Bradbury admitted his focus was on making a clean snap. The conditions were brutal with snow and wind, which he called the worst he’d ever experienced. Yet, despite the chaos, the ending was unforgettable. “I was expecting Rhamondre to hit a hole. Then I turned around and saw Drake with the ball, and I was like, ‘Go, go, go!’ Because we didn’t know.”
