Duncan has put up impressive numbers this season. He’s averaging 16.3 points per game and shooting 47% overall, including an impressive 41.9% from three-point range. With 90 three-pointers made, he ranks 19th in Division II and leads the Lone Star Conference (LSC). Earlier this season, he crossed the 1,000-point mark in his career during a game where he scored a personal best of 37 points. Duncan has consistently scored in double figures, with 25 games hitting that mark, including 10 games with 20 points or more. He also contributes with 2.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.

In addition to this accolade, Duncan was already recognized as a member of the All-Lone Star Conference First Team and awarded the league’s Player of the Year.

Joining Duncan on the All-Region First Team are Ricky Lujan from DBU and Ahamed Mohammed from West Texas A&M. William Becker of UC Colorado Springs and Majok Deng from Colorado School of Mines also received honors, with Deng being named the region’s Player of the Year.

The Division II Conference Commissioners Association plays a crucial role in supporting Division II athletics, promoting sportsmanship and communication among member colleges. Their work helps shape policies and regulations in college sports, ensuring a high standard of integrity and competition.

Overall, Duncan’s achievements not only highlight his skill and hard work but also reflect the growing talent within NCAA Division II basketball. As players continue to push the limits, it raises interesting questions about how this level of competition will evolve in the coming years.
