Earn Your Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees Directly from Your Phone: Discover How Our University Makes It Possible!

Americans can now earn degrees right from their smartphones, thanks to Cornerstone University. The school’s new business program lets students study at their own pace through mobile devices.

“We created the nation’s first mobile platform for accredited undergraduate and master’s degrees,” said President Gerson Moreno-Riaño in a recent interview with FOX Business. The program kicked off in August and already has about 250 students.

Through the SOAR program, students can earn an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in strategic business management, or a master’s in organizational leadership. Notably, the program boasts a 91% persistence rate, meaning most students stick with it. Some who transferred credits might graduate this year.

Costs are manageable: a bachelor’s degree runs $24,000, while a master’s is $12,000. “More than half of our students are attending for free because of scholarships and grants,” Moreno-Riaño added.

Moreno-Riaño believes this program fills a gap in American education. “The traditional higher education system isn’t meeting the needs of many students today,” he said. He pointed out that most adults use their mobile devices over four hours a day. This insight led Cornerstone to try something new.

The university tested its app for a year with around 120 students. Their feedback helped shape the SOAR program, ensuring it would effectively engage users.

Many students, especially non-traditional ones who might have avoided traditional colleges, find this format appealing. They can consume content in short bursts while commuting or completing chores. “We break down courses into bite-sized chunks,” Moreno-Riaño explained, emphasizing how this makes learning easier for busy lives.

The app features quick lectures, podcasts, and assessments that provide immediate feedback. This approach keeps students engaged and promotes learning even amid their hectic schedules.

As educational landscapes evolve, formats like Cornerstone’s might set new standards for flexible learning. Studies show that online and hybrid courses continue to grow, responding to increasing demand from students who seek convenience and adaptability. A report from the National Center for Education Statistics noted a 71% increase in online course enrollment over the last decade.

Cornerstone’s innovative platform could be a glimpse into the future of higher education. As technology advances, students may find more tailored and accessible educational solutions just a tap away.
