El Camino Health Teams Up with San Jose Earthquakes: A Game-Changing Partnership for Community Wellness

On January 29, El Camino Health announced an exciting partnership with the San Jose Earthquakes. This collaboration aims to promote healthy and active lifestyles for families in the Bay Area.

As part of this partnership, El Camino Health will be the official healthcare partner and will have its logo on the front of the Earthquakes’ jerseys starting in the 2025 Major League Soccer season. With hospitals located in Mountain View and Los Gatos, El Camino Health has a strong presence in the South Bay.

The partnership will enhance the Earth’s current Get EQ Fit program. This program focuses on health and wellness for elementary school students in the South Bay. The goal is to double the program’s reach, benefiting over 40 schools and impacting around 10,000 students and their families each year. El Camino Health staff will help design the curriculum and will actively participate in the program.

Another exciting aspect of this partnership is the annual Community Health Fair planned at PayPal Park. This event will offer free health screenings, wellness workshops, and educational sessions run by El Camino Health professionals. Families can seek advice from healthcare providers, get vaccinations, and learn about nutrition, fitness, and mental health. The fair will include fun activities, fitness demonstrations, and chances to meet Earthquakes players and staff.

On the field, fans will see El Camino Health’s logo prominently displayed on the first-team jerseys of the Earthquakes, starting in 2025. Young players from the Quakes Academy, aged 14 to 18, will also sport the El Camino Health brand on their jerseys.

Additionally, El Camino Health will sponsor the California Clásico held at Stanford Stadium, where the Earthquakes will face their rivals, LA Galaxy.

This partnership unites two long-standing pillars of the South Bay community—El Camino Health, nearing its 65th anniversary, and the Earthquakes, who recently celebrated 50 years in San Jose. Both organizations are dedicated to improving health in their communities.

“We are excited to partner with El Camino Health as we share a commitment to the health and wellbeing of our diverse communities,” said Earthquakes President Jared Shawlee. This partnership reflects the shared values and aims of both organizations to enhance local community health.
