Elon Musk Highlights Positive Trends in the India-US Relationship: What You Need to Know!

Elon Musk recently met with Indian business leaders at SpaceX’s Starbase in Texas. He expressed his belief that relations between India and the US are improving and supports stronger trade ties.

The Indian delegation, led by the India Global Forum (IGF), was in the US to celebrate its expansion. They toured SpaceX’s impressive facilities and watched a successful launch of the Starship Flight 7.

During a discussion, Musk highlighted the potential for collaboration, especially in technology and space exploration. He mentioned, “Things are trending positive. I’m certainly in favor of lowering trade barriers to enhance commerce between the US and India.”

Musk spoke highly of India’s rich history, describing it as “one of the ancient civilizations.” He interacted with business leaders from various sectors, discussing how technology can play a key role in India’s evolution in global innovation.

This meeting came just before Donald Trump’s second presidential inauguration. Musk is expected to be part of his administration, suggesting a role as co-chair of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Manoj Ladwa, IGF’s founder, remarked on the importance of collaboration in these changing times, especially with a new American leadership. He emphasized that bringing global leaders together could help address significant global challenges.

The delegation included notable figures such as Prashant Ruia of Essar Capital, Jay Kotak of Kotak811, and Ritesh Agarwal, CEO of OYO. They also engaged in closed-door discussions with the incoming Trump administration and US policymakers about boosting economic ties through technology and foreign investments.
