New Delhi: World Anthropology Day is celebrated on the third Thursday of February each year. This day highlights the importance of anthropology and honors the professionals in the field.

The Anthropological Survey of India recently shared news about the upcoming Indian Anthropology Congress. Scheduled for February 21-23, 2025, this event, organized by the Ministry of Culture, will bring together scholars to discuss how anthropology can shape a more developed India.

Rajiv Gandhi University also celebrated this day, noting its role as a leading institute in training young anthropologists. On February 19, the university plans to commemorate World Anthropology Day.
