India is gearing up for its major clean energy event, **Bharat Electricity 2025**, happening from September 2nd to 4th at Yashobhoomi, IICC, in New Delhi. This gathering, organized with the help of POWERGEN India and Indian Utility Week, aims to bring together policymakers, utility companies, innovators, and investors to speed up India’s shift to sustainable energy.
The event has support from several government ministries, including Power, New & Renewable Energy, and Environment. This multi-ministerial backing strengthens the event’s role as India’s key platform for energy discussions, aligning with the government’s goals for energy security and affordability.
With the theme **“Viksit Bharat: Transforming Energy, Transforming Lives,”** the forum plans to cover topics like grid modernization, renewable energy integration, energy storage, and hydrogen technology. Shri Bhupinder Singh Bhalla, the former secretary of the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, chairs the Governing Council for this initiative. He, along with leaders from various sectors, will oversee discussions on energy policies that affect the entire country.
Shri P.K. Pujari, Honorary Chairperson of the Energy Conservation and Implementation Society, emphasizes the significance of this event. He states, “This platform will be crucial in transforming India’s clean energy ambitions into actionable steps.” His insights highlight the need for collaboration between government and industry to enhance investments in the power sector.
Expecting over **10,000 attendees**, the event will feature more than **250 exhibitors** showcasing innovations in clean energy and digital technologies. With advancements in energy storage and hydrogen solutions on display, visitors can witness practical demonstrations that promise to shape the future of energy in India.
As India sets its sights on a **500 GW non-fossil energy goal by 2030** and strives for **Net Zero emissions by 2070**, Bharat Electricity 2025 aims to be a vital catalyst in fostering partnerships and driving innovation in the clean energy sector.
