The Yakima Health District is teaming up with the Downtown Association of Yakima, Nuestra Casa, Zócalo of Yakima, and South Central Workforce to launch “Flavors of the Community,” a series of free bilingual workshops for local food vendors.

As summer approaches, these Temporary Food Event Workshops aim to help food vendors gear up for the busy event season in the Yakima Valley. The first workshop kicks off on June 3 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Rotary Pavilion, 15 West Yakima Avenue. A second session follows on June 10 at Nuestra Casa, 307 South 7th Street in Sunnyside.
