This event, coordinated by Newbury Friends of the Earth and the Nature & Climate Network, felt like a well-deserved victory lap. They celebrated the success of the Newbury Nature Corridors project, which earned an environmental impact award from the Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust (BBOWT).
Dr. Susan Millington from Newbury Friends of the Earth emphasized the importance of this get-together. “We had a chance to reflect on our successes,” she mentioned. Celebrating the BBOWT award and being among friends boosted community morale.
