Enhance Your Career: Join Our ServSafe® Food Managers Training in Chadron Today!

Nebraska Extension is hosting a ServSafe Food Managers Training on Tuesday, October 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. This event will take place at the Chadron State College Student Union in the Ponderosa Room. If you’re a food service manager, supervisor, or in charge of food safety, this training is for you.

The course covers important topics like:

  • Preventing foodborne illnesses
  • Types of contamination
  • Safe food handling practices
  • Food flow from purchase to service
  • Food safety management systems
  • Cleaning and sanitation procedures

Participants will receive a manual, eight hours of hands-on instruction, and can take the proctored certification exam at the end.

The cost for this training is $160. Payments can be mailed to the Morrill County Extension Office. Make checks out to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and send them to:
