Exciting News: Entertainment Squad, an indie distribution company, has revived the LGBTQ+ label PrideFlix. They’ve brought in Martin Gallery, a former executive from Odin’s Eye, as the new Vice President of Sales and Acquisitions.
Gallery is set to lead the charge in acquiring new films for PrideFlix. He’ll focus on expanding Entertainment Squad’s international film offerings and will meet buyers at the EFM Berlin event next month.
Entertainment Squad has a history of supporting LGBTQ+ cinema. They’ve previously released titles like Summoning Sylvia, Exteriors, and Lover of Men: The Untold History of Abraham Lincoln. With Gallery at the helm, the company hopes to bring even more engaging stories to its audience.
“We’re excited to revitalize PrideFlix,” said Shaked Berenson, the CEO of Entertainment Squad. “Martin’s skills in international sales and his knowledge of the evolving film industry make him the perfect fit for this role. Our goal is to elevate LGBTQ+ voices and stories that resonate, entertain, and leave a mark.”
Gallery has a solid background in film production. He’s worked on projects like Combat Wombat, Predestination, and 2067.
