Epstein Victim’s Family Slams Mandelson’s Appointment as Ambassador: A Call for Accountability

The family of Virginia Giuffre, a well-known victim of Jeffrey Epstein, expressed their disappointment over Lord Mandelson’s role as UK ambassador to the United States. In a recent interview, Virginia’s brother, Sky Roberts, stated that Mandelson should never have been appointed. He suggested that the issue reflects deep-rooted corruption in both the UK and US systems.

Virginia Giuffre accused Epstein of abusing her after she met his associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, while working at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. At just 17, she alleged Epstein introduced her to Prince Andrew in London, where she claimed he sexually abused her multiple times. Although Prince Andrew has denied these allegations, he did reach a settlement with Giuffre in 2022, which included no admission of guilt.

After years of advocacy, Giuffre became the face of Epstein’s victims. Tragically, she took her own life in April.

Giuffre’s sister-in-law, Amanda Roberts, voiced frustration about how the government has allowed individuals like Mandelson to keep their titles without accountability. She called for greater scrutiny and action, asking why survivors must constantly push to expose wrongdoings.
