Weld County rates food facilities like restaurants, schools, and grocery stores based on their safety practices. They use three main categories: pass, reinspection required, and closed.
Here’s what each category means:
- Pass: The facility meets basic food safety standards. It might have some minor violations, but these were corrected during the inspection.
- Reinspection required: The facility had some food safety issues. While some corrections may have been made, a follow-up inspection is needed to ensure compliance.
- Closed: Serious safety risks were found, meaning the establishment has multiple major violations. It must stop operations until these problems are resolved.
Facilities that received a “closed” rating but later fixed their issues are noted with an asterisk.
