Here are some highlights from the first night of WWE WrestleMania 41.

Star-Studded Audience
The event attracted a mix of celebrities. NFL star George Kittle from the San Francisco 49ers was there, along with musicians Jelly Roll and Lil Yachty. UFC president Dana White faced some boos when he appeared on screen. Other notable attendees included actor Stephen Amell, podcaster Bill Simmons, former UFC champion Israel Adesanya, magician Criss Angel, and music producer Rick Rubin.
Massive Turnout
Shawn Michaels announced a sellout crowd of 61,467 for the night. WrestleTix estimated around 56,000 ticketed attendees earlier in the day, with the venue set for over 57,000. Interestingly, this number is lower than the 63,969 spectators for the Vegas Kickoff Classic earlier this year and just shy of the 61,629 who attended the Super Bowl.
Exciting In-Ring Debuts
This WrestleMania showcased a few memorable debuts. Rey Fenix, fresh off injuries that kept him sidelined, stepped in as an injury replacement for Rey Mysterio, who was hurt during a recent SmackDown. Fenix faced off against El Grande Americano but ended up losing. This marked his WrestleMania debut, showing how quickly fortunes can change in wrestling.
Another highlight was Tiffany Stratton, the WWE Women’s Champion, successfully defending her title against Charlotte Flair. Stratton had competed in a dark match just the year before. Her rise in the WWE has been impressive, underscoring the growing talent pool in women’s wrestling.
Meanwhile, Jacob Fatu also made a memorable entrance, defeating LA Knight to claim his first singles title in WWE—the United States Championship. Fatu’s victory was a significant milestone in his career, showcasing the rise of new stars in the wrestling landscape.
WrestleMania continues to serve as a platform for emerging talent, indicating a vibrant future for professional wrestling. As fans eagerly look forward to the next matches, it’s clear that the excitement doesn’t end here.
