A suspect has been arrested in connection with the tragic murders of an Ohio dentist and his wife. Police reports indicate that Michael McKee, a 39-year-old from Chicago, was detained in Rockford, Illinois. He now faces two murder charges for the deaths of Spencer and Monique Tepe.
Court records show that McKee is the ex-husband of Monique. His arrest follows a police appeal for information, where they released surveillance footage of a person seen near the Tepe home at the time of the crime.
The couple was found dead in their Columbus home on December 30. Investigators believe the shootings took place between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. At the scene, authorities found no weapons or signs of forced entry. Two young children, ages one and four, were also in the house but were unharmed.
