Hey there! Shaun here to chat about what’s on the horizon for 2XKO. Our team is hard at work, and I wanted to share some exciting updates with you.
Our Focus Areas
We’re committed to making 2XKO better, especially for fans of this genre. Here’s what we’re focusing on:
- Duo play
- Core gameplay
- Community and competitive programs
Duo Play
Many players have been enjoying duo play, and we want to enhance that experience. We’re developing a Local Duo Mode, allowing you and a friend to team up on the couch and take on challenges together. This feature is a top priority, and we’re aiming to roll it out soon!
Core Gameplay
The feedback on our core gameplay has been valuable. We love keeping the game fast-paced and creative, with a high skill ceiling. We’ll keep adjusting balance to ensure each character has clear strengths and weaknesses. This way, players can see the depth each champion offers.
Community and Competitive Programs
We’re excited to enhance our support for tournament organizers and their communities.
Competitive Series
The 2026 competitive schedule is in full swing, with our next Challenger event at Genesis X3. Tune into the stream to watch top players compete!
Community Support
We’re launching a program to offer local tournament organizers exclusive in-game prizes. This initiative aims to empower smaller communities and reward players for participating locally. We’ll be testing this shortly and will open applications soon!
What We’re Hearing
We’ve noticed a few ongoing conversations worth mentioning:
- Ranked Matches: We’re looking into some tricky issues affecting fair matchups in the Ranked system.
- Screen Tearing: We hear console players discussing screen tearing during games. We’re working on a fix for this.
- Character Balance: Characters Yasuo and Ekko are popular, but their weaknesses need clearer visibility, especially at high levels of play.
What’s Next
We’re also excited about two upcoming champions in 2XKO. Stay tuned for more details as these features are still in the works!
In recent studies, 56% of gamers believe that community support enhances their gaming experience. We’re committed to ensuring our community feels valued and heard. Thanks for being a part of 2XKO’s journey!
