Utah Valley University has welcomed a new player to its men’s basketball team. Coach Todd Phillips announced the signing of Joul Karram, a sophomore center transferring from the University of Utah. Standing at 6-foot-11, Karram is known for his impressive skills on the court and brings a wealth of international experience.

In his final season at Hapoel Tel Aviv, Karram put up impressive numbers, averaging 13.6 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks, along with shooting 42.9% from three-point range. He gained more experience in rounds at the Adidas Next Generation Tournament in Serbia and played against top NCAA teams like Arizona and Kansas State.

Originally from Nazareth, Israel, Karram’s journey took him to Tel Aviv for high school. His path has taken him across various countries, including Serbia, Macedonia, and Finland. This global perspective on basketball will be valuable to Utah Valley as they aim for success in the coming season.
