AEW’s Forbidden Door is ramping up excitement with four new matches on the pre-show. One standout clash features the Bullet Club War Dogs—Clark Connors, Drilla Moloney, and Robbie X—taking on the champions, The Opps (Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata, and Powerhouse Hobbs), in a Trios title match. This matchup stems from a wild brawl on Dynamite, where the War Dogs aided their teammate Gabe Kidd, who is set for a Lights Out Steel Cage match at Forbidden Door.
Besides the title bout, two thrilling All-Star tag team matches have been lined up. In one match, Cru teams with Hechicero and faces off against Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong from Paragon, along with NJPW’s Yuya Uemura and El Desperado. In another, the Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Julia Hart, and Skye Blue) join forces with Megan Bayne to take on Kris Statlander, Willow Nightingale, Harley Cameron, and Queen Aminata.
Additionally, Ricochet and the Gates of Agony will compete against Michael Oku and JetSpeed. Also noteworthy is that Daniel Garcia will corner Nigel McGuinness in his championship match against Zack Sabre Jr. for the IWGP World Championship.
