As we celebrate this milestone, we’re making some shifts. We’ll continue with smaller updates but will focus more on new projects. We appreciate your loyalty and support throughout this exciting journey.
What’s Next for Assassin’s Creed?

Codename HEXE
This next installment is being crafted by our talented team at Ubisoft Montreal. HEXE promises a darker, narrative-driven experience set in a significant historical context. It’s still under wraps for now, but the excitement is real! Recently, I stepped in as the Creative Director for this project, and we’re taking our time to get it right.
Codename INVICTUS
We’re also working on Codename INVICTUS, a new multiplayer experience. Led by the veterans from For Honor, this project aims to engage you early in the development process. We want your thoughts and insights to help shape this unique aspect of the Assassin’s Creed universe.
Recent trends show growing interest in multiplayer gaming, especially in established franchises. In fact, a survey by Statista indicated that 55% of gamers prefer multiplayer modes. This reflects our commitment to creating diverse experiences within the franchise.
Beyond These Projects
There are more surprises in store, including Assassin’s Creed Jade. And yes, we’re looking into bringing cooperative play back—a feature beloved by many fans!
Updates on the Netflix Series
Fans have been eagerly awaiting the live-action series based on Assassin’s Creed. The buzz around casting and production details suggests an exciting reveal is coming soon. With over 3 million mentions on social media platforms in recent months, anticipation is palpable!
Bringing Back Classics
We’re also focused on supporting our classic titles. Many players started their journey with these games, and they hold a special place in our hearts. On March 5, we’ll release a free 60 frames per second patch for Assassin’s Creed Unity on the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. It’s the perfect time to revisit the beautifully crafted world of 18th-century Paris.
