CBS has announced it will continue ten shows into the 2026-2027 broadcast season. Some of these include “Tracker,” “Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage,” and “Matlock.” Notably, “NCIS” will move into its 24th season, while “Survivor” has already been renewed for Season 51.
In total, CBS has 16 series lined up for the upcoming season. Other established favorites like “FBI” and “Ghosts” are also returning, along with some exciting spinoffs, including “Boston Blue,” a “Blue Bloods” spinoff, and “Sheriff Country” from “Fire Country.”
New shows are also on the horizon. The legal drama “Cupertino,” featuring Mike Colter, and the procedural “Einstein,” starring Matthew Gray Gubler, are set to join the roster. Initially planned for the 2025-2026 season, “Einstein” was pushed to the next year.
Currently, two shows are still waiting for renewal news: the medical drama “Watson,” featuring Morris Chestnut, and the comedy “DMV.” Meanwhile, the comedy “The Neighborhood” is coming to a close after its current season.
Mark your calendars for new premieres! The “CIA” spinoff of “FBI” is set to debut on February 23, and “Marshals,” a “Yellowstone” spinoff starring Luke Grimes, will air starting March 1.
Additionally, CBS is exploring two new comedy pilots for the next season. One is “Eternally Yours,” a vampire comedy from the creators of “Ghosts.” The other, “Regency,” is a period comedy from Tara Hernandez.
As CBS continues to evolve, it’s clear they are putting significant energy into both well-loved series and fresh offerings. This balance might keep viewers engaged and excited about what comes next.
