Exciting Collaboration: Federation Studios Partners with Alessandro Usai to Unveil No Name Entertainment – Get the Inside Scoop!

Federation Studios, a leading production and sales company in Europe, is joining forces with renowned Italian producer Alessandro Usai to create a new film and TV venture in Italy called No Name Entertainment.

Alessandro Usai, who heads Italy’s film industry group ANICA, has a successful background in film production. He led Colorado Film Production for 15 years, producing hits like “The Tearsmith,” which became Netflix Italy’s first original film to top the global movie chart in a non-English language category.

Usai will be joined by his trusted colleague Pier Paolo Luciani, who served as COO of Colorado Film and previously worked at Warner Bros. Italy. Luciani will take on the role of COO and partner at No Name.

Federation’s founders, along with managing director Marco Chimenz, see great potential in partnering with Usai and Luciani. They believe Italy is a vibrant source of talent and creativity. Chimenz explained that as Federation expands globally, they also want to grow in Italy.

No Name Entertainment is Federation’s second Italian company. The first, Fabula Pictures, also specializes in high-quality productions, including the Netflix series “Baby.”

Usai and Luciani have a strong track record at Colorado, with successful projects ranging from the comedy franchise “Me Contro Te” to the acclaimed film “The Girl in the Fog” by best-selling author Donato Carrisi. Usai also has experience producing high-profile films, like Luca Guadagnino’s acclaimed “I Am Love.”

Usai shared that No Name plans to produce two or three feature films and a significant TV series initially. He emphasized they are not focused on scale at this stage but aim to explore various genres, including comedy, action, thriller, and horror. By collaborating with other productions, they hope to leverage strengths across Europe.

While they keep specific projects under wraps for now, Usai and Chimenz are considering opportunities to utilize Federation-owned intellectual property in their upcoming works.
