Exciting Discovery: Could ‘Planet X’ Be the Newest Member of Our Solar System?

However, opinions among scientists vary. Some believe that the candidate for Planet X in recent studies might actually be distinct from the original hypothesis, posing challenges to existing theories about our solar system’s formation. Skeptics argue that the faint observations used as evidence may not hold up under closer inspection.

While thoughts of life on Planet X are exciting, it’s likely that any life forms there would be extremophiles—microbes that can survive in harsh conditions. This suggests that conditions on Planet X would be incredibly challenging for any potential life.
