Hilton has just made a big move by partnering with Yotel, a brand known for its compact, tech-friendly hotels in busy urban areas. This collaboration is set to boost Hilton’s global hotel offerings while allowing Yotel to keep its independent style.

Currently, Yotel manages 23 hotels across 10 countries. They have ambitious plans to more than triple this number soon. This partnership means Yotel will tap into Hilton’s extensive distribution systems and its popular Hilton Honors loyalty program, which has nearly 250 million members.

Founded in London in 2007, Yotel has hotels in major cities like New York, Tokyo, and Singapore. Each Yotel location features smart designs, including adjustable beds and automated luggage storage, making the most of limited space.

Hilton’s new arrangement places Yotel in a category called “Select by Hilton.” This is aimed at established brands that want to remain true to their roots while accessing Hilton’s resources. Phil Andreopoulos, CEO of Yotel, mentioned, “This relationship allows us to expand our reach while staying true to who we are.”

Expert opinions suggest that integrating tech-driven hotels like Yotel is smart, especially as travelers increasingly seek convenience and modern amenities. Data shows that nearly 70% of travelers prioritize technology-friendly features in their accommodation choices.

Hilton’s executive vice president, Christian Charnaux, emphasized, “This agreement strengthens our network by connecting a beloved brand like Yotel to the Hilton Honors program.” By the end of 2026, travelers will be able to book Yotel hotels through Hilton’s channels, merging innovative design with a trusted hospitality brand.
