In singles, Xie set the tone with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Drake’s Jordane Dookie. Knezevic continued the momentum, winning against North Dakota’s Andrea Pineda. Pinto joined the victory parade with a solid 6-2, 6-3 win over Drake’s Maja Dodik. Unfortunately, Ma faced a tough match, losing in a tiebreaker to Korseth.
