Exciting Leadership Change: Fatma Mili Appointed Interim Provost at [University Name]

Fatma Mili, PhD, has taken on the role of interim provost and senior vice president for academic affairs at Montclair State University, effective January 2, 2025. Before this, she was the interim dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Mili will now lead the university’s academic team and oversee 14 different colleges and schools. She replaces Stefanie Brachfeld, who served as acting provost since October.

Her previous roles included dean at UNC Charlotte, where she significantly increased graduation rates, and key positions at Purdue University, where she helped transform the College of Technology into the Purdue Polytechnic Institute.
