University of South Dakota Names Kendra Rich Assistant Athletic Director
The University of South Dakota has exciting news: Kendra Rich is stepping up as the new Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing & Promotions. Having joined the athletic department in July 2024, Kendra has already made a significant impact.
Jarren Duffy, the Associate AD for Fan Engagement, praised her work. He noted, “Kendra immediately enhanced our external efforts. I’m thrilled to see her take on new challenges.” Her efforts have been instrumental in boosting the Coyote brand and improving the game atmosphere.
During her time as Assistant Director of Marketing, Kendra oversaw the marketing for football and women’s basketball. Remarkably, she helped increase revenue in those sports by over 15%. Now, in her new role, she will manage not just the marketing strategies but also the spirit squads.
“I’m grateful for this opportunity and appreciate the trust from my colleagues,” Kendra shared. “I look forward to expanding Coyote Athletics and enhancing the fan experience.”
Kendra hails from Salem, Arkansas. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2022 and her master’s in sport management in 2024 from the University of Central Arkansas. This background equips her well for her new responsibilities.
