The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change is looking for an Associate (Legal) in Nagpur. This position is available at the Regional Office, located in the New Secretariat Building, Civil Lines.

Position: Associate (Legal) – A

Number of Positions: 1

Age Limit: Maximum 50 years

Salary: ₹40,000 per month

Qualifications Needed:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) or equivalent from a recognized universityin India.
• At least 1 year but no more than 2 years of legal experience.
• Registered as an advocate with the Bar Council of India or a state Bar Council, as per the Advocates Act, 1961.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with cases related to the environment, forests, biodiversity, or wildlife in a government setting.
• Diploma or certificate in related fields from a recognized university or institution.

Preference will be given to candidates who:

• Scored above 60% in their LL.B. exams.
• Completed a full-time LL.B. course.
• Scored above 60% in their LL.M. exams.
