Saint Louis, Mo – Fordham University’s women’s basketball team is heading to the Midwest for a mid-morning game against the Billikens on Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. EST.
Fordham (9-15, 1-12) hopes to bounce back after a 70-53 loss to La Salle. This meeting is crucial; the Rams are looking to end a six-game losing streak with just five games left in the regular season. On the other hand, the Billikens aim to improve their playoff position, with only two wins separating teams from sixth to twelfth in the standings. They’ve also lost five straight since their last win against the Rams on January 21.
In their earlier matchup at Rose Hill Gym, Saint Louis defeated Fordham 67-57 in overtime, marking a significant moment for both teams. Historically, Saint Louis leads the series 14-12, having won the last two encounters.
